Short Term Care

EXHAUSTED? NEED A HOLIDAY OR PLANNED ABSENCE?

Short term care is provided and can be pre-booked at your request.

Some families require regular relief from duties of care, and this is termed as ‘respite care’. Respite may be funded privately or through your Needs Assessor, for example, one-week short term care every five weeks.

This way you not only get time to recuperate from caring but can plan personal activities or holidays in advance.

Short-term care can be subsidised with government support and for this, you can use your Carer Support Form issued to you by your Needs Assessment Team.

SHORT TERM CARE CAN ALSO BE PRIVATELY FUNDED.

For short term care, you can often ring with only a few days’ notice or can book at either facility well in advance.
